- Submit an event to be added to the Timeline. We’re always looking for ideas and suggestions of major events and great stories that we’ve not yet come across or have researched. You can suggest an idea for a Timeline event via our Add an Event page, or through out Facebook, Twitter or Instagram pages.
- Solve one of our Timeline Mysteries! From time to time, we come across stories with questions that need clarification in order to be in the Timeline. We call these “Timeline Mysteries” and we look to our community to help solve these. If you provide the specific information that solves one of our mysteries, you’ll win a free “This Day in Monmouth County History” t-shirt.
- Follow us on social media and share your memories and stories! We love hearing about personal experiences relating to the events and stories in our Timeline. Where were you when the Nike missiles exploded? Did you go to high school with Jack Nicholson? Our history extends throughout our population and we love learning more about Timeline events from people’s personal experiences. You can follow us on our Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram pages.
- Become a sponsor or advertise on Monmouth Timeline. As a nonprofit engaged in promoting historical education and research, we are a good fit for many brands seeking to reach the people of this region.
- Create your own history timeline! In creating Monmouth Timeline, we now have a turnkey solution that allows other groups, companies or organizations to be able to create their own interactive timelines. Let us show you how you can bring your history to life.
- Support us on Patreon. Your donation of a dollar, two dollars, five dollars, will go to help us obtain usage rights for protected images we want to use, as well as improvements to the site and special promotions and activities. At this time, these donations are not tax-deductible, but we have applied for tax-exempt status and expect that this will become a future benefit.
Monmouth Timeline is a resource for the entire community, and we hope that its content will reflect our community’s involvement and passion for regional history.
